After the course the student will be able to solve process design problems in a team. On the basis of lab. recipe data the student can develop basic PDFs (process flow diagrams), execute performance calculations and estimate physical property data. The student will also learn how to perform design calculations for the unit operations (reactor networks and separation trains) in the PDF and do techno-economic evaluations of the proposed designs.
