Academic background

I received a Bachelor of Polymer Materials and Engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University in 2009 and obtained a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry and Physics from Fudan University in 2014 under the direction of Professor Ming Jiang.  My Ph.D. research was on glycopolymer-based self-assembly.  Then I moved to Texas A&M University to undertake a postdoctoral position under the direction of Professor Karen L. Wooley, where I worked on the synthesis of glucose-derived polymers towards biomedical applications.  Since Nov. 2017, I have been working as a postdoctoral researcher in the Meijer group, where I am currently investigating water-soluble supramolecular polymers:  From synthesis towards their bio-applications, e.g. extracellular matrix mimicking.
