Viswanathan Ramachandran completed his PhD in Information Theory from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in 2020. His research interests are in classical information theory and wireless communications, particularly in joint source-channel coding and channel simulation problems in multi-terminal settings.

Viswanathan Ramachandran is a postdoctoral fellow in the Information and Communication Theory Lab at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). His research focuses on the mathematical foundations underpinning modern communication systems under the broad umbrella of information theory. He is a member of the IEEE and has published several papers in leading conferences and journals.
